Joelle Leali	Joelle Leali is married with three young daughters. She is a speech and language pathologist in a New Orleans public school and  specializes in incorporating living science into her language therapy program. She was inspired to write Pelicans Forever because the children in her life had so many questions regarding the recent oil spill. They are concerned with Gulf Coast wildlife and wetlands.
Jaclyn Hazel	Jaclyn Hazel is a first year high school student in Owensboro, Ky. She loves art and animals. She has spent most of her summers enjoying the Gulf Beaches and was excited to illustrate Pelicans Forever.
